Use this feature to create a 3D cubic parametric spline, or a true 3D curve with nodes that do not lie in the same plane. View the Start and End Condition Menu options that appear in the Conversation Bar frequently throughout spline creation.

Using the Function:

1. Select 3D Open from the Create>Spline submenu.

2. Indicate a series of node points through which the spline can be created.

3. Choose ACCEPT/OK when you complete positioning nodes.

4. Choose the start and end condition for the spline from the Start/End Condition Menu.
