Hole Table Formatting Dialog Box

The dialog box shown below appears when you click Detail>Notes>Hole Table. Click the below links for specific dialog settings for:

Table type

Select radius or diameter to make (1) the holes’ radius or diameter values appear in the Size (right-most) column of the table, and (2) the Size column heading Radius or Diameter.

Sort group sizes ascending

Select to make the values in the Size (Radius or Diameter) column ascending. (Clear to make them descending.)

Primary sort value

Select the column to use for sorting holes within a group.

Ascending

Select to make the values in the column you selected in the Primary sort value field ascending. (Clear to make them descending.)

 

Secondary sort value

Select the column to use to sort holes within a group when the Primary sort values are the same.

Ascending

Select to make the values in the column you selected in the Secondary sort value field ascending. (Clear to make them descending.)

Starting letter

Type the letter that will be used for the first group of holes in the table.

Blank row between groups

Select if you want the table to include a blank row between groups of holes.

Add Target at Table Origin

Adds a Datum Target symbol to the origin chosen before placement of the table.

Label distance as % hole radius

 

Column display and minimum widths

In the available fields, type the minimum character widths (any positive number), as desired. Determines the columns that appear in the table and their minimum widths (in character height). A column that has no button always appears (like Hole, for example). But you can select whether or not to have a column that has a button (like Z, for example).

Column spacing and Row spacing

See "Spacing" in the figure below.

For Column spacing: Type the number of character spaces (any positive number) you want to be the width between the right-most edge of characters in one column to the left-most edge of characters in the column to the right.

For Row spacing: Same as Column spacing, except for rows.
