Print/Plot
Print/Plot
The Print/Plot pane shown below, and its Default pane, shown next, contain the buttons described below.
For explanations of each Print/Plot node (pane), click Print/Plot Configurations.
Print/Plot Options:
New Configuration
Allows you to name and create a new configuration that has the same properties as the default configuration.
Import Configuration
Use this setting to display a dialog prompting for a Print Configuration (.cpc) file, followed by a dialog prompting for a name for the configuration. The selected configuration is then imported with the given name. You can use this to transfer configuration from other computers.
Configuration Options:
Copy Configuration
Creates a new configuration with the same values as the currently selected configuration, displays a dialog prompting for a name for the configuration, and then enters the printer configuration properties dialog. Canceling either dialog cancels the creation of the new configuration.
Delete Configuration
Deletes the currently selected configuration from the list, and writes the list in its current order to the registry.
Rename Configuration
Displays a dialog prompting for a new name for the currently selected configuration, with the current name as the default, and writes the list in its current order to the registry.
Set as Default Configuration
Use this setting to indicate the currently selected configuration as the default configuration at startup. Selecting a new configuration in the Setup dialog in the print sequence will make that configuration the default for the next print operation. The default configuration is identified by a trailing '*' character.
Export Configuration
Use this setting to export the currently selected configuration to a Print Configuration (*.cpc) file. You can use this feature to transfer configurations to other computers.
