KeyCreator / Verify / Entity / Parabola Verify Information

If a parabola entity is selected for verification, the following data will appear in the "Data Verify" dialog box:

  • A B C D E F - The quadratic coefficients.

  • Angle - The angle between the directrix and the definition view X axis.

  • Conic type = Parabola - The selected conic type.

  • Directrix A B C - The coefficients of the equation defining the directrix as AX + BY + C = 0.

  • Eccentricity - The measure of circularity of the parabola, always equal to one.

  • End point XD YD ZD - The parabola's end point in definition view coordinates.

  • End point X Y Z - The parabola's end point in world coordinates.

  • Focus point: XD YD ZD - The definition view coordinates of the focus.

  • Focus point: X Y Z - The coordinates of the focus in world coordinates.

  • Semiparameter length - Half the perpendicular distance from the directrix to the vertex.

  • Start point XD YD ZD - The start point in definition view coordinates of the parabola.

  • Start point X Y Z - The start point in world coordinates of the parabola.

  • Vertex point: XD YD ZD - The vertex in definition view coordinates.

  • Vertex point: X Y Z - The vertex in world coordinates.
