Separate

KeyCreator Modify Boolean Seperate

Use Separate Disjoint Bodies to separate solid objects that, while not physically connected, are considered one solid body. Bodies with physically separate parts can arise from several functions including Split a Body along a Plane, Boolean Difference, or Boolean Union.

For example, if you use Boolean, Subtract to create multiple objects from one solid body, the resulting objects would still be one solid. You can then use Split Bodies to separate them into individual solid objects.

Using the Function:
  1. Select Separate from the Modify>Boolean submenu.

  2. Select the solid object to split into separate objects.

  3. Accept to complete the Boolean operation. The objects are now individual solids.
