Move

The Move function allows for temporary relocation of top level objects (solids for example) for visualization purposes. Undo/Redo can be used on moved objects.

Delete Function

Delete works on Top Level Items which may include:

Assemblies, References, Solids, Faces, Wires, Annotations, Bounding Box Solids and Markup Entities:

Delete will not work for 'child' entities:

Pattern Detection:

In addition to feature listing in the Part Tree, the Pattern area will list identical features located in object when 3 or more are detected. Pattern detection includes holes, fillets and chamfers.

Annotation Category Listing:

The following annotation types will be listed in the Part Tree based on the original CAD file's structure:

Annotation Planes — Planes used for defining and placing annotations, right click on Plane in Part Tree allows display view to be set to that plane view orientation.
Saved Views — User captured views, right click on view in Part Tree allows display view to be set to that view orientation.
Dimensions — Include angular, diameter and linear dimension types.
Datums — Standard datum symbols.
Geometric Tolerances — Standard geometric tolerance symbols.
Notes — Standard text.
Other Annotations — Annotations that are detected but not part of any of the above categories.

Discover Assemblies:

References are made from bodies and matched bodies are grouped into assemblies to organize parts. Available in the Premium View this function can be activated when there are multiple bodies in a part that are not part of an assembly or listed as a reference, (flat file structure of solid and sheet bodies).

Right click on the top level file name in Part Tree and choose Discover Assembly. Matched bodies will be listed as part of an assembly group number and listed as references to that assembly grouping in Part Tree:
