Use this function to create a point at a specified offset distance along a vector that you select. You must enter an offset distance, then select a vector (or multiple vectors). Points will be created along each of the vectors that you select.

Using the Function:

1. Click Create>Advanced Points> Along a Vector. The Conversation Bar prompts you to enter the offset distance.

2. Enter the offset distance.

3. Select the vector (or multiple vectors). A point is created at the specified offset distance along the vector(s) you had selected.
