Dynamic Array Position example

In this example we will copy a socket screw along an irregular path and offset the position in the + Z direction. Since no pattern approach would be feasible we can use the Position option to perform both.

1.Select the socket screw and accept. Choose Position from the conversation bar and click on the center holes to copy screws. You are in a preview mode so any needed changes will take effect for the copy position.

2.Choose Accept when completed and the screws will appear in display. To offset the screws into the +Z direction choose the vertical blue DynaHandle (left mouse click and hold) and move up or you can use the right mouse menu to offset in z a specified distance.

3. After complete choose Accept.
