Tolerant Modeling capabilities allow for tolerance values to be attached to edges and vertices. Through this dialog, you are able to specify how to handle tolerant edges with the body being healed.

Dialog Options:

Through the dialog above, you can elect to make tolerant edges if gaps are present after the healing attempt has ended, or to make tolerant edges and skip the heal process altogether (fastest solution). You can also elect not to make tolerant edges.
