The Burst Group function is used to break apart an existing group.  It will remove all entities within a group, and leave the group itself intact.

Using the Function:

1. Select Burst from the Tools>Group submenu.

2. Enter the name of the existing group you intend to burst.

3. Select ACCEPT/OK.  The indicated group is then burst. If there were no entities in the group you indicated, an error prompt will be displayed stating that the selected group is already empty.
