The Crop function is used to increase or decrease the current size of an existing drawing instance within a layout.

NOTE: This function will not affect scale. To resize the arc in a detail callout use the Generic Move function.

Using the Function:

1. Select Crop from the Layout>Instance Display submenu.

2. Select the drawing instance that you intend to resize.

3. Enter a new width for the drawing instance box.

4. Enter a new height value for the drawing instance box. You can also select the AutoFit button to automatically size the instance to fit the displayed entities, or the Scale button, which allows you to crop the instance via a scale value instead of absolute X and Y values. The drawing instance is cropeded accordingly about its center.
