Use this function to select layout-specific entities to tag to an instance. Whenever the instance is updated, the tagged entities will update accordingly.

NOTE: Entities tagged to an instance are moved to the level of the instance, and do not exist on any level separate from the instance.

Using the Function:

1. Select Tag to Instance from the Layout Menu.

2. Select the instance to which you want to tag layout-specific entities.

3. Select the layout-specific entities that you intend to tag to the instance, using the selection menu, and select ACCEPT/OK.

4. The selected geometry is tagged to the instance you had indicated. Whenever the instance is updated, the tagged geometry will now update accordingly.
