The Key-in Text function is used to type the actual text that will be displayed. You can use the same text at different locations in your part file.

Using the Function:

1. Select Key-in Text from the Detail>Notes submenu. The Note dialog appears.

2. Use the Tree window options for the Note settings.

3. Type the note text, enter a Field place holder or choose a symbol.

4. When you have finished, select OK to close the dialog.

5. Indicate a position for the note text. Each time you indicate another position, the note text is displayed at that location. Cancel to exit.

Editing an Existing Note:

Select KeyCreator’s Generic Edit feature, and click on the label you wish to modify. The Format Note dialog appears, adjust Note as needed, click Apply and OK to exit.
