Use this feature to dimension the angle between two reference positions and a vertex that you specify.

Using the Function:

1. Select Three Positions from the Detail>Angular Dimension submenu.

2. Select the vertex of the angle you want to dimension. The vertex and the end points do not have to lie in the same plane.

3. Indicate the first reference position representing the end points of the angle to dimension.

4. Indicate the second reference position representing the end points of the angle to dimension. Temporary dashed lines are displayed to show the angle defined by the two reference positions. The vertex and the two reference positions define two intersecting reference lines and four angles for dimensioning.

5. Select a position somewhere inside the angle that you want to dimension. The temporary dashed lines disappear. New temporary solid lines appear, defining the selected angle.

6. Indicate whether you want to dimension the inner or outer angle.

7. Indicate the dimension text position. The temporary lines disappear.
