Use this feature to segment a curve by creating one point on the curve at a specified distance from a selected end point. When using this function, keep the following in mind:
Regardless of the 2D/3D setting, this option always creates the specified points on the selected curve.
Using the Function:
Select Curve Distance from the Create>Point submenu.
Enter the distance along the curve where you want the point.
Select the curve near the end to measure the distance from.
