Use this feature to create a circle tangent to a selected entity with its center at an indicated position. When creating circles of this type, keep the following in mind:

• In 2D construction mode, the circle is created in the construction view, at the depth that was active when you indicated the center.

• In 3D construction mode, the circle is created in the plane of the selected entity and the indicated position.

Using the Function:

1. Select Center/Tangent from the Create>Circle submenu.

2. Select the tangent entity, near the point of tangency.

3. Indicate a center position for the circle.

NOTE: When a tangent circle cannot be created, an error message appears. When this occurs, you will need to select a different center position.
