Use this feature to create a polygon shape with equal-length sides consisting of line entities.

• In 2D construction mode, the polygon is created in the current construction plane.

• In 3D construction mode, the polygon is created in the plane that is parallel to the current construction plane and that passes through the indicated reference point.

• The fewest number of sides a polygon can have is 3. Note that there is no upper limit.

1. Select Polygon from the Create>Line submenu.

2. Enter the number of sides in the polygon.

3. Enter a rotation angle for the base of the polygon.

4. Choose one of the following: Corner, Flat or Side. The Corner option measures the radius from a vertex of the polygon to the center. The Flat option measures the radius from the center perpendicularly to the side of the polygon. The Side option uses the radius as the length of a side.

5. Enter a positive radius value.

6. Indicate the center of the polygon. The center of the polygon is a point equidistant from all vertices.
