Feature Control Frame Dialog Datum Tab

Use the Datum page in the Create a New Feature Control dialog box to create a datum. Through this page, you are able to specify Datum Text, Standard, Leader Type and other settings explained below. Using the Datum Attributes page, you can set attributes to be used for the datum Feature Control symbols that you create. The settings contained in this page are identical to those in the Attributes page.

Dialog Options:

Datum Text

Specify the text to be displayed in the datum.

Standard

The Standard selected through the Feature Control will appear here, and cannot be changed unless through the Feature Control Frame If you intend to set a Standard through the Datum itself, independent of Feature Control Frame, it is recommended that you use the Datum function, explained later in this Symbol segment.

Miscellaneous Options

The settings for both the Use filled arrowheads on leaders and Return to dialog after placing symbol that were set through the Feature Control will appear here, and can only be changed through the Feature Control. Note that these settings are configurable separate of feature Control through the Datum function.

Leader Type

The Leader Type set through the GeoTol will appear in this box, and can only be changed through the Feature Control. If you intend to set a Leader Type through the Datum itself, it is recommended that you use the Datum function, explained later in this Symbol segment.

• Above Feature Control Frame - When selected, the leader will appear above the Feature Control Frame.

• Below Feature Control Frame - When selected, the leader type that is selected will appear below the Feature Control Frame.

• Above Feature Type Frame - When selected, the leader type that is selected will appear below the Feature Type symbol.

• Below Feature Type Frame - When selected, the leader type that is selected will appear below the Feature Type symbol.
