Model files (*.MODEL, *.MOD)

Export files (*.EXP, *.DIV)

Features:

  • CATIA v4 solids, volumes, surfaces and wireframe geometry (points, lines, arcs, conics, polynomial curves and NURBS) can be imported

  • Solids, sheet bodies and wireframe geometry (lines, arcs, conics, splines and NURB splines) can be exported to CATIA v4

  • Capable of reading the CATIA v4 file’s units

  • Bi-directional transfer of RGB color attributes and level/layer information

  • Log of CATIA file’s header information (version, author, entity types etc)

Limitations:

  • Does not support the import (reading) of CATIA v4 assembly files and drawing files

  • Translation of modeling history maintained by CATIA v4 is not supported
