The Export>STL function can be used to transfer your solid models to an STL (Stereolithography) file. STL export is particularly useful if you wish to create physical prototypes of the solid models you create in Solids using Stereolithography or rapid-prototyping machines. In addition to being able to pick polylines, solids and sheet bodies, this function can export shell entities. This is beneficial when using KeyCreator as the host to import, transform and export large STL files. Such files could contain millions of triangles to re-orient scanned data in STL format for machining purposes.
