Use the IGES function to export supported geometry data to IGES format files. IGES stands for the Initial Graphics Exchange Standard, the internationally recognized neutral format for the translation of design data among different CAD and CAM systems.  The IGES option allows you to select IGES files, specify file configuration information, and translate the file. The translator preserves style and width attributes during a round-trip translation in addition to color.
