KeyCreator Prime Vector Normal to Curve

 

Use the Normal to Cure creation function to create a vector that is perpendicular to a curve that you select. To use this function, follow the steps below.

 

Using the Function:
  1. Select Normal to Curve from the Curve>More>Vector Ribbon area.

  2. Choose a normal direction vector option from the menu options that appear in the Conversation bar (shown below).

  • Pick Pt - Creates a vector at the cursor pick point.

  • Exist Pt - Creates a vector at an existing point.

  • Number - Select the number of vectors desired.

  • Nodes - Creates vectors at all existing nodes.

NOTE: Depending upon the normal vector option you had chosen, you may be required to interact more before the vector can be created. For instance, if the Number option is selected, you will be required to enter the number of points desired to define the vector.
