Use the Entity/Position function to create a plane by an entity that you select and a position that you indicate.

Using the Function:

1. Select Entity/Position from Curve>More>Plane Ribbon area.

2. Select a line, vector or plane. If you select a plane, the new plane will be parallel to the selected plane. If you select a line or vector, the normal of the new plane will be parallel to the selected line or vector, with the direction of the normal determined by which end of the line or vector you selected.

3. Indicate the origin of the plane. The plane is created from the selected entity using the indicated origin.
