Use the Import from Disk feature to import text from a file on a disk directly into a part file. This option is useful if you have saved ASCII text files to a disk and now wish to import them.

NOTE: If you go back and make changes to the file containing the text, the changes are not reflected in the part file.

Using the Function:

1. Select Import from the Detail>Annotation Ribbon area. The Note File Import dialog box appears.

2. Type or browse for the note filename then click on the OPEN button.

3. Indicate a position for the disk note text.
