Use this function to create an elliptical arc by selecting two points that represent the position and magnitude of the major axis. Then select two points that represent the position and magnitude of the minor axis. An ellipse is created that is centered on the intersection of the two axes, and oriented with the major axis.

  3. Enter the desired start angle (default is 0 degrees), and click Accept.

  4. Enter the desired end angle (default is 360 degrees), and click Accept.

  5. Following the prompt, in the viewport click the first position for the inner axis. A temporary marker appears at the selected position.

  6. Click the second position for the inner axis. A second temporary marker appears at the selected position.

  7. Move the pointer to form the ellipse as desired, and then click to complete the operation.

  8. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to form any additional ellipses with the same start and end angles, or click Esc.
