Feature / Fastener Customization

The data used to create feature holes and fasteners is stored in database files located in FEATDATA and FASTDATA directories, which can be found in the \lang\english subdirectory under your root install folder. These files contain both the standards information that you see in the dialog box, (e.g., types, sizes, lengths, etc.) as well as the data that is used to create the geometry. If you wish to add your own features or fasteners to these files, or create your own database files, it is necessary for you to include all the information that the software expects to find, in the right order, when it reads the files.
