Selection Hints for Multiple Viewports

The following hints might make selection easier while you are working in multiple viewports:

  • When using the Single method, you can select entities from any viewport.

  • When you use Chain, you are able to select the start entity and the end entity in different viewports. The entities in the view in which you selected the start entity are chained.

  • When you use Group, you can enter a group name or select an entity that belongs to the subgroup you want to select.

  • When you use Plane, you are able to select the reference entities in any viewport that defines the plane.

  • When you use All Dsp, you can indicate the reference viewport.
