Use the Edit Part function to edit the referenced part in a new window. When Edit Part is selected, either from a right-click menu or from the Assemblies menu, a window appears containing the referenced part, or original part. From this window, you are able to edit the part. Any references to the part will update according to any changes that are made to the referenced part.
