Key In

The Key in Text function is used to type the actual text that will be displayed. You can use the same text at different locations in your part file.

Using the Function:

1. Select Key in Text from the Detail>Annotation>Note Ribbon area. The Create a New Note dialog appears.

2. Use the Tree window options for the Note settings.

3. Type the note text or choose a symbol.

4. When you have finished, select OK to close the dialog.

5. Indicate a position for the note text. Each time you indicate another position, the note text is displayed at that location.
