KeyCreator Drafting Circle center and Diameter

Use this feature to create a circle with a specified center position and diameter. When creating circles of this type, keep the following in mind:

  • In 2D construction mode, the circle is created and the center position projected to the current construction plane.

  • In 3D construction mode, the circle is created in the plane that is parallel to the current construction plane, and that passes through the center position.

Using the Function:
  1. Select Center/Diameter from the Curve>Circle>Center Ribbon area.

  2. Select OffsetDistance from the Create>Arc submenu.

Note: Before the next step, note that you can create multiple circles at the same time, if desired. To do this, on the Conversation Bar, enter multiple diameters separated by semicolons.

  1. Enter a diameter value.

  2. Indicate the center point of the circle.
