KeyCreator Drafting Arc

The features available from the Curve>Arc Ribbon area can be used to create arc entities by several different methods. These options will appear when Arc is selected from Curve>Arc. When creating arcs, it will be important to keep the following things in mind:

  • Positive angles are measured counterclockwise from the start to the end angle. Start and end arc angles can be negative or positive.

  • In 2D construction mode, the arc is created and the center and edge positions are projected to the current construction plane.

  • In 3D construction mode, a plane is located that is parallel to the current construction plane and that passes through the center position. It projects the edge point to the plane and creates the arc in the plane. Note that this only applies to the following functions: Center/Radius, Center/Diameter, Center/Edge, Start/End, and Radius/Two Positions.
