Distance

Use the distance functions to calculate the actual, projected, and delta component distance between two positions, a position and a geometric entity, or two geometric entities. 

Verify Distance Data

When using the Verify>Distance functions, it will be important to keep the following in mind:

• The Actual position and Projected position information does not appear when you use the Two Positions Method.

• For accurate distance measurements when you use Two Positions and Position to Entity, make sure you set the 2D/3D construction switch to 3D.
