Macro/KXL

KXL stands for KeyCreator eXtensible Language.  With KXL, you can save an ASCII file of the database information associated with the entities in your part.  The default filename extension for KXL files is (*.KXL).

You can use KXL to take design file information and export it to applications or to import information into a design file from other applications.

Exporting KXL writes entities to a KXL file. Along with selected entity types, attributes like color, line type, line width, text font, and level are also transferred to the ASCII file. Geometric entities are exported as 3D data primitives and, if necessary, as associated view matrices.
