KeyCreator Verify Distance 2 points

 

Use this feature to calculate the minimum distance between two positions. 

NOTE: This function differs from Verify>Distance>Two Entities. It focuses on user specified position selection, while Two Entities focuses on closest distance between selected entities.

Using the Function:

  1. Select Two Positions from the Verify>Distance submenu.

  2. Indicate the first position using one of the Position Menu options.

  3. Indicate the second position. 

  4. Results are displayed in Verify Distance Results. 
     

Measured Distance Results:

Projected distance based on current Cplane X and Y, (dXC, dYC) and Actual distance factoring in both current Cplane, (dXC, dYC, dZC) and World View, (dX, dY, dZ) are presented for selected positions in both Engish and Metric units:
